On behalf of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) I am delighted to announce the establishment of our consulting division -Blue Mountains Hospitality Consulting.
This represents an exciting extension to the range of high quality services we already deliver to the hospitality and tourism industry. Many industry operators have experienced first-hand our approach to preparing capable and responsible students for industry work-placement, followed by nurturing them to graduate as industry-ready professionals.
BMIHMS graduates are renowned for being able to take on supervisor, management and leadership roles. We are proud of the valuable contribution that our graduates continue to make to the industry globally. BMIHMS also provides post-graduate qualifications to individuals and industry organisations offering their staff professional development opportunities.
From this cumulative experience with industry and prompted by requests to assist with designing and implementing customised training programs and to explore offering some form of formal accreditation for participants, the evolution of Blue Mountains Hospitality Consulting was perhaps inevitable.
It is now the ideal platform to engage with our valued industry partners at an organisational level to achieve excellence. The priority on launching the Consulting Division is to lead an international roll out of the China Ready & Accredited® program to the hospitality services sector, meeting a critical market need.
